Hi Bethany! my English is bad, but still I would like to dedicate a few words, I want you to know that today is a great day for me.

I was looking at spotify versions of the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, and between those songs I found your song Hallelujah, I expected to hear another version of Mr. Cohen …
But instead I found an angelic voice, a voice that has come to the heart and made it felt like to seek information about you, the truth is that I was surprised, because I discovered a wonderful song “All I Need “..

He did not know your name, but I discovered I already knew your voice, long ago, I heard a song called “When You Love Someone” from the movie Bridge to Terabithia, did not know it was yours, I loved it and always carry it in my ipod but no artist, just says “Composer Terabithia” unforgivable. I change it now!

You may not read this, but just wanted to thank you for choosing to be a singer, your voice made me happy today, I wish you good luck in your pregnancy, your life and hopefully someday you can come to Barcelona to sing a concert, but if not possible, we may be in heaven.

You can be sure I’ll talk about your songs on my facebook, you have a new fan!

    Thank you very much!

    Hello Bethany!

You and your husband have been on my heart a lot lately, and I’ve been praying for y’all. Over the past year, I have had some difficult and tough things occur, but I wanted to let you know how much the Lord has used your and Shane’s music to encourage me and spur me on to keep fighting. It’s been a tough season in trusting the Lord with everything, and He has been so faithful. He who promises is so, so, so faithful. He has been singing over me: “You are on Our Side”, “Hallelujah”, Shane and Shane’s “For the Good” and “Embracing Accusation”. I can’t even begin to tell you how much you have encouraged me and made an impact on my life. I am so certain that you will never believe how much the Lord has used you to help others across the world! Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and clinging Him.

Beth, I’ve been praying for sweet Lucy. In fact, (this is super creepy), we had a baby calf born at my family’s farm last week, and I named her Lucy, in order to remind me to keep praying for your family. I would really love to paint Lucy something for her room, if that’s okay. You have just blessed me so much, and I would love to give something in return. I would love to paint it and mail it to you. What is the color scheme of her room? You can email me at mlytle17@tamu.edu

Thank you so much for encouraging me along with countless others.

oh, I just have to say that “You are on Our Side” and “For the Good” are two reasons why the “Repeat” button was invented!

Those are two of the most touching and deep songs I have heard in a very long time.

You are both (or should I say, you three?) artists that I return to again and again, knowing that there will seldom, if ever, be a track I don’t enjoy or that doesn’t lead me to worship and just give genuine thanks to Jesus just for being there.

Bethany, I know you all know its about Him, but thanks so much for being faithful to use the gifts you’ve been given, and also for your transparency in your blog. I’ve enjoyed your writing since the web journal on the site for Imagination… you truly are a woman who points very effectively to the Lord. So many out there are talented in music/writing, but you don’t know what they stand for so it isn’t all that fruitful in an eternal way. But you have found the balance; it is a wonderful thing and blesses me very much.

I know that it will be some time before we see another album from you, but I am so happy for you & your family and I will keep praying for God’s perfect will for you all…. and looking forward to seeing how motherhood reflects onto your music!
